Terms & Conditions – Mixologist Services & Alcohol Sales
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the provision of mixology services and/or the sale of alcoholic beverages by A SPIRIT (“we”, “us”, “our”) to clients (“you”, “your”) in England, Wales, and Scotland. By booking A SPIRIT services or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms.
2. Licensing & Legal Compliance
A SPIRIT operate under a valid Personal Licence in compliance with the Licensing Act 2003 (England & Wales) and the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.
Alcohol will not be sold, served, or supplied to persons under the age of 18. Proof of age may be required (Challenge 25 policy).
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated, abusive, or unable to provide valid identification.
All services and sales will comply with local licensing restrictions, including permitted sale hours and event permissions.

Unless otherwise agreed, the client is responsible for providing an appropriate venue with necessary permissions (Premises Licence or Temporary Event Notice in England & Wales; Occasional Licence in Scotland if applicable).
Set-up, breakdown, and cleaning are included in the service period unless otherwise specified in the booking agreement.

4. Alcohol & Product Sales
Products (e.g., bottled cocktails, spirits, mixers) are supplied as described at the time of sale.
Title and risk in the goods pass to you upon full payment and delivery/collection.
It is your responsibility to store products safely and in accordance with any instructions.

5. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 35% is required to confirm any booking.
The balance must be paid 30 days prior to the event unless otherwise agreed.
Product orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
Failure to make timely payment may result in cancellation without refund.

6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will result in a refund minus the deposit.

If we are unable to provide services due to illness, accident, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to arrange a replacement or refund payments made.

7. Client Responsibilities
You must ensure the venue is legally permitted to host the sale/consumption of alcohol.
Adequate access, facilities, and safety arrangements must be provided for our staff.
You are responsible for the conduct of your guests. We reserve the right to withdraw service without refund if staff are subject to abuse, unsafe conditions, or illegal requests.

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the services/products.

9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics).

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales for services and sales conducted there, and by Scots law for services and sales in Scotland.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant country.
